Your wild yellow lilies look like Asiatic lilies to me. Are they escapees from a garden or ones the squirrels planted, do you think?
hi there Helen. I'm thinking we could be recipients of some gifts from a squirrel or a chipmunk friend. i think that same friend is responsible for the random sunflower growing amongst my leeks right now.
how ever it comes about, i'm just thankful it does. waking up and catching a glance of an unexpected bright yellow lily isn't a bad way to start a day.
