Hi Allison I spotted your 'daily photo' link on Miss M's blogroll and the first word I read on your post was 'New Gloucester'. What a coincidence - I live in Gloucester in the UK. Gorgeous brussels - I've been enjoying munching my way through mine. Sadly the rain storms have blown them all down so I don't think they'll make it through to Christmas. bye for now, Nic
I don't grow sprouts but I do like eating them. They do have a poor reputation here as, like most greens, they are often overcooked resulting in a soggy mess! Flighty xx
thanks Nip in the Bud for stopping on by. so lovely to have you visit, especially being a fellow Gloucester.
i actually wasn't won over by brussel sprouts until we had dinner over at a friend's house several years ago. they served them and at first i was a little nervous, but didn't want to be impolite, so i ate them. turns out, i love them! not to convince everyone else how good they are...
One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.
