omen of autumn... As I wondered about our woods this afternoon, I came upon the first acorns that have dropped to the ground. A sure sign that autumn is not too far away. This hasn't been a stellar summer weather wise, so I'm now turning my thoughts towards enjoying a beautiful fall. I get excited merely thinking about it. Apple picking at the orchard down the road, pumpkin picking at Intervale Farms, leaves changing, air crisping, sweater wearing bliss.
