garlic, shallots, & onions—a stinkin' harvest of happiness... Just got in from harvesting the first shallots of the summer. They are a welcome addition to the cipollinis and garlic harvest of last weekend. Growing onions over the past few summers never yielded me much success, so I do find it a bit odd that after this summer of garden sadness my onion and shallot crops are thriving with more success than in any of my past decade of gardening. I'm incredibly thankful to dine with these delectable beauties. So tasty. So good.
