garden | gourds

absolutely gourd-geous... The past two weeks of warm temperatures and sun have given my poor winter squash, pumpkins, and gourds a much need shot of vitamin D. Gradually these fanciful, vining plants are branching out over the stone walls, climbing up twig trellises and pouring over the edges of my whiskey barrels. My favorite discovery today was the presence of a perky Baby Blue Hubbard. And it is impossible to resist the allure of those adorable Tennessee Dancing Gourds.
